Our Methods

Behavioural: At K9 Dogs we deal with all forms of behavioural difficulties including, aggression, timidity, barking, fighting, chewing, personality disorders, separation anxiety, biting, jumping up, toileting, and recall.

All behavioral consultations are conducted on a one to one basis; this is normally at your home or the area that your problem occurs. My fees are very competitive and are by the session. Note travel costs may apply.

Basic Obedience: These are the basic requirements to help you get a settled and contented dog, sit, stay, heel, return, walking to heel etc. These help your dog settle into its place within the family. It also stimulates your dog's mental processes which can by itself help to ease some common behavioral problems.

Puppy Assessment: For Pups under 4 months old, this is a full personality assessment at your home. It includes an appraisal test to indicate your dog's character, dominance signals, and accesses the possibility of aggression in later life, it also indicates the dogs ability to learn and points to the methods that may work best for your individual pup.

The assessment also covers sleeping arrangements, feeding, toileting, initial training schedules, training expectations, crate training and the need for leadership, . This will give you a solid base for your dogs future development.
